Meet the artwork: Humpybong Holiday- Moreton Bay Regional Council

Amanda Penrose Hart is an Australian artist whose travelling informs her work. Penrose Hart’s painting ‘Humpybong Holiday’ was acquired into the Moreton Bay Regional Council Art Collection through the annual ‘15 Artists award’. Inspired by the Moreton Bay Region’s many holiday spots, it depicts the charm and wit of the caravan with a comedic play of scale and juxtaposition.

Details of the exhibition can be found at www.salientwesternfront.com. You can also hear a podcast interview with those in this video at talkingwithpainters.com - episode 43. The Drill Hall Gallery - Return to ANZAC Cove 'Your friend the enemy'

Return to Anzac Cove : ‘Your friend the enemy’ Drill Hall Gallery, Kingsley Street, Acton ACT 0200, Australia From 10 April until 17 May 2015 • 12 – 5pm Wednesday to Sunday • Admission free The Drill Hall Gallery is currently exhibiting the works of 13 artists who were part of the Sydney gallerist Robert Linnegar's ambitious project.
