John Peart

This October marks the 10th anniversary of John Peart’s passing. With a unique artistic perspective, John’s work refused to yield to the false vernacular of a labelled artistic aesthetic. In searching for his own approach to making art whether it be painting, drawing, collage or printmaking, John was forever foraging, dissecting, and reinventing.

King Street Gallery on William is proud to present a carefully curated selection of works on paper spanning over 20 years. Ranging across pen, pencil, gouache, acrylic and collage, this exhibition pays homage to John’s prowess as an artist and innovator.
