Wendy Sharpe will be giving an Artist Talk at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra on the 11th of November as part of the Art Gallery of NSW’s touring exhibition Archie 100: A Century of the Archibald Prize. This major exhibition celebrates 100 years of Australia’s oldest and most-loved portrait award and reflects upon the changing face of our nation.

Wendy Sharpe is one of Australia’s most acclaimed and awarded artists, holding over 70 solo exhibitions across Australia and internationally. Her extensive list of prize wins includes the Archibald Prize, the Sulman Prize, the Portia Geach Memorial Award, the Calleen Art Prize, the Adelaide Perry Art Prize and the Gold Award.
