Harrie FASHER is scheduled to lead a tour of her studio and the Foundations at Portland. The Portland Foundry was established in 2021 and is located in the old heritage workshops of the former Portland Cement Works. This studio tour is in conjunction with the exhibition CREATIVE FOUNDATIONS, at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, curated by Harrie Fasher. The show features work by Harrie FASHER and her sister Kim Fasher, Elisabeth CUMMINGS, Jody Graham, Jennifer Leahy, Annabel Mason and TC Overson

Join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience at The Foundations in Portland, led by artist Harrie. This immersive tour offers a rare opportunity to explore the creative process in the studio through the eyes of the artist.
What to Expect:
- Artist-Led Studio Tour: Inside the working studio, Harrie will personally step you through the casting process, sharing insights into each step from mould-making to final form. Please note there will be no hot metal casting on the day of the tour.
- The Foundations Site Tour: Continue your journey with a guided exploration of The Foundations site, a place where industrial history, art, architecture, and community meet.
- Refreshments Included: Enjoy morning tea and light lunch as part of your visit.
- Gallery Visit: The day concludes with a visit to the on-site gallery, featuring works by artists in residence.
