Elisabeth Cummings’ After the Wet, Elcho Island, is on display at the Orange Regional Gallery until July 13, 2025 in the Collection Highlights exhibition.

Orange Regional Gallery’s collection was founded on a significant donation by Mary Turner OAM to the city of Orange in 1982. Since then the collection has grown to include over 1600 works of Australian art from the 1920s to today, thanks to the generosity of artists, donors, and the Friends of Orange Regional Gallery – our volunteer community organisation who raise vital funds for acquisitions.

The recently completed Extension Project has provided more storage, conservation and exhibition spaces, allowing the Gallery to increase access to the collection for our community and visiting audiences.

This selection includes significant works by Grace Cossington Smith, Elisabeth Cummings, Laurence Edwards, Ian Fairweather, Mandy Martin, Ildiko Kovacs, Emily Kngwarreye, Euan Macleod, Mavis Ngallametta and John R Walker among others.

Exhibition Dates: 15 Feburary – 13 July 2025
Where: Orange Regional Gallery, 149 Byng St, Orange NSW 2800
