The National Art School presents ‘Radiant Places’ a panel discussion on Wednesday 11 October at 6:30pm with Elisabeth Cummings, offering insights from the artist herself into her practice and from colleagues who have supported her work.
The discussion will address Cummings’ engagement with her surroundings and the natural environment, her creative process and journey, and her exhibitions, including the return of her work to the National Art School where she commenced her studies 70 years ago.
Speakers include the artist, Elisabeth Cummings; Sioux Garside, writer curator, former Director; and Anne Ryan, Curator of Australian Art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. The discussion will be chaired by Vivienne Webb, Curator of the Radiance exhibition at NAS.
