One of the main areas of play in my practice has been combining 2D and 3D ideas together.
In this show I’m bringing together historical bronze imagery with painted forms.
The overarching motivation of these works is a meditation on Time.
Time as a constructed measure of our existence.
Time as the thing in the way of us getting to where we need to be and our incessant drive towards the promise of the future.
Time as our sense of lack. Time poor. There is never enough time in the day.
Time as the great unknown. How much time do each of us have?
Time as in all that has gone before and made us who we are.
