There is a joy in the making of things. The connection that the hand has to the material that somehow connects to the imagination, emotion and memory. I draw from what is around me, the day to day, visual cues, things that pique my curiosity, give me a thrill or squeeze my soul. There is always somewhere to explore in my head and my heart, it makes sense of who I am. And Then The Sun Came Out is a continuation of that exploration of finding more of me, of striding out, feeling free, stronger, walking my walk.
